Tyra Thompson belts home run in 4th inning as the Raiders cruise to a 7-0 victory

BUDA – Here are photos from Friday’s Class 6A bi-district playoff between the Cedar Ridge Raiders and the Buda Johnson Jaguars at Moe & Gene Johnson High School in Buda, Texas. Cedar Ridge defeated Johnson 7-0 behind a shutout performance by pitcher Caitlin Benningfield and a home run from Tyra Thompson. The Raiders are one of several teams from the Austin area that will move on to the second round of the playoffs.
