Round Rock holds off San Antonio Reagan in UIL 6A Division I girls soccer area playoff 📸

KYLE – Round Rock capitalized on its opportunity and made it stand up.

The Lady Dragons held off a relentless San Antonio Reagan offense to secure a 1-0 win in a UIL Class 6A Division I girls soccer area playoffs Tuesday at Lehman High School in Kyle.

Reagan (20-3-2) controlled much of the first half, dictating the pace and dominating possession while outshooting Round Rock 7-1.

Despite the pressure, the Lady Dragons’ defense held firm and kept the match scoreless heading into halftime.

Round Rock (18-2-4) wasted little time shifting momentum after the break. Phia Hull scored early in the second half, delivering what would prove to be the decisive goal and giving the Lady Dragons a 1-0 advantage.

From there, Round Rock relied on its defense to preserve the lead, limiting Reagan’s chances despite continued pressure. The Rattlers were unable to convert their opportunities, as the Lady Dragons held on for the shutout victory.

Round Rock moves on to face Cibolo Steele (21-3-1) in the regional semifinals. The Knights defeated Weslaco 8-0 Tuesday in an another area playoff.
