Week 7Austin-San Antonio region high school football rankings: Austin Eastside makes first ever appearance in rankings

The seventh week of the Texas high school football season is in the books, and for the first time in the history of our rankings, Austin Eastside is listed as a top five team.  

Week 7 has the potential to cause a lot of shakeups next week, but this week’s top fives had little to no change. The exception is in Class 6A where McNeil’s upset of the Vipers caused a shift at the bottom.  

Here is a look at this week’s rankings: 

Class 6A
