Week 3 of the Texas high school football season is in the books, and it caused a shakeup at the top of our weekly rankings in all three Top 5s.

All three No. 1 teams from Week 3 lost this past weekend – Westlake lost to Atascocita, Weiss lost to A&M Consolidated and Wimberley lost to LBJ. That means there are new No. 1s in all three polls.

Lake Travis (3-0) is the new No. 1 in Class 6A, Georgetown (3-0) made the biggest leap, going from No. 3 in our Class 5A top 5 to No. 1, and LBJ (2-0) is the new No. 1 in our small school top 5.

There are a couple newcomers in Round Rock and Pflugerville in Class 6A and 5A , respectively, while  Lago Vista returns in the small school rankings.
