Helmet stickers: The top performers around the Austin area from Week 3

Here are the standout high school football players who earned helmet stickers from the Austin Sports Journal for week 3:

Kael Hatnot, Buda Johnson: The senior running back rushed for 148 yards on 14 carries and had three touchdowns in the Jaguars’ win over Austin High.

Luke Martin, East View: The senior tight end had 124 yards receiving on 7 catches with one touchdown in the Patriots’ win over Belton.

Kieston Rainey, East View: The senior running back had 143 total yards and three touchdowns in the Patriots’ win over Belton.

Trystin Rimes, Stony Point: The junior receiver had 105 receiving yards on six catches and scored three touchdowns in the Tigers’ loss to Vandegrift.

Kayson Mathabela, Bowie: The senior running back rushed for 107 yards on 25 carries and scored four touchdowns in the Bulldogs’ comeback win over Glenn.

Cruz Tello, Bowie: The senior quarterback contributed 344 total yards, throwing for 249 and rushing for 94. Tello had one rushing touchdown and one passing in the Bulldogs’ win over Glenn.

Cole Taylor, Pflugerville: The junior quarterback threw for 422 yards, completing 23 of 29 pass attempts, and five touchdowns with only one interception in the Panthers’ win over Fort Bend Christian Academy.

Kyran McFrazier, Pflugerville: The senior tight end had 126 receiving yards on five catches with two touchdowns in the Panthers’ win over Fort Bend Christian Academy.

Josh Williams, McNeil: The senior running back ran for 147 yards on 21 carries, averaging 7.0 yards per carry, and scored one touchdown in the Mavericks’ win over Westwood.

Keilan Chavies, Hutto: The junior running back rushed for 132 yards on 17 carries, averaging 11.0 yards per carry, and scored two touchdowns in the Hippos’ win over Cedar Ridge.

Easton Aird, Lake Travis: The senior linebacker had 15 tackles, a forced fumble, a pass deflection and a blocked field goal in the Cavaliers’ win over Midland Legacy.

Da’von Giscome, La Grange: The junior running back rushed for 138 yards on 17 carries and scored three touchdowns in the Leopards’ win over Smithville.

Zane Wooldridge, Leander: The senior wide receiver had five catches for 149 yards and a touchdown in the Lions’ loss to Del Valle.

Lincoln Hossfeld, Salado: The senior quarterback accounted for 393 yards of total offense and six touchdowns in the Eagles’ win over Giddings. He threw for 304 yards, completing 17 of 21 pass attempts without an interception.

Antione Baker, LBJ: The senior defensive back had 10 tackles, 2 interceptions and a sack in the Jaguars’ win over Wimberley.

Griffin Gorrebeeck, Vandegrift: The sophomore running back rushed for 128 yards and scored two touchdowns on 27 carries in the Vipers’ win over Stony Point.

Yaheim Riley, LBJ: The senior defensive back had 11 tackles, two forced fumbles, a pas break up and four big hits in the Jaguars’ win over Wimberley.

Brock Chilton, Vandegrifrt: The junior wide receiver had 113 receiving yards on 6 catches with two touchdowns in the Vipers’ win over Stony Point.

Ali Scott, LBJ: The senior quarterback threw for 276 yards, completing 17 of 20 pass attempts, and three touchdowns. He also rushed for 63 yards on 11 carries.
