Helmet stickers: The top performers around the Austin area from Week 2

Here are the standout high school football players who earned helmet stickers from the Austin Sports Journal for week 2:

  • Ryder Miller, Pflugerville: The senior running back rushed for 113 yards on 18 carries for two touchdowns in the Panthers’ win over Hays.
  • Zane Wooldridge, Leander: The senior wide receiver had 161 yards on 9 catches with a touchdown in the Lions’ win over Hendrickson.
  • Ty Blair, East View: The senior quarterback threw for 159 yards and 3 touchdowns, completing 15 of 23 attempts, in the Patriots’ win over Burnet.
  • Bryson McDaniel, Giddings: The junior running back rushed for 138 yards on 20 carries and scored one touchdown in the Buffaloes win over Smithville.
  • Trae Hill, Cedar Park: The junior running back scored five total touchdowns, while rushing for 131 yards on 37 carries and running in four rushing touchdowns. Hill also had had 60 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown in the Timberwolves’ win over Vandegrift.
  • Aiden Walker, Round Rock: The senior defensive back had two interceptions and three tackles in the Dragons’ win over Temple.
  • Ed Small, Anderson: The senior wide receiver had four catches for 141 yards and two touchdowns in the Trojans’ win over Elgin.
  • Jay Fullmer, Anderson: The sophomore running back rushed for 136 yards on 11 carries and scored two touchdowns in the Trojans’ win over Elgin.
  • Kyle May, Liberty Hill: The senior running back rushed for 142 yards on 23 carries and scored 4 touchdowns in the Panthers’ win over Rouse.
  • Chaston Ditta, Lake Travis: The senior quarterback threw for three touchdowns, including a 10-yard game-winning toss to Patrick Colby, and ran in another in the Cavaliers’ win over Rockwall.
  • Kael Hatnot, Buda Johnson: The senior running back rushed for 140 yards on 19 carries and scored two touchdowns in the Jaguars’ win over Stony Point.
  • Jaxon Schad, Weiss: The freshman quarterback threw for 286 yards and five touchdowns, completing 14 of 17 passes without an interception in the Wolves’ win over San Marcos.
  • Chance Parker, Thrall: The senior quarterback threw for 303 yards and 5 touchdowns, completing 18 of 21 pass attempts in the Tigers’ win over Rosebud-Lott.
  • Landon Gregory, Thrall: The senior wide receiver had seven catches for 214 yards and four touchdowns in the Tigers’ win over Rosebud-Lott.
