The 2026 Pac-12 football schedule was released Wednesday night, officially ushering in a new era for Texas State.
In its first season as a member of the Pac-12 Conference, the Bobcats will play a seven-game conference schedule with a Week 13 flex matchup to complete a 12-game slate. The schedule also includes a challenging non-conference lineup and seven home games at UFCU Stadium.
The Bobcats will host Colorado State, Utah State, Fresno State and Washington State in Pac-12 play while traveling to San Diego State, Boise State and Oregon State.
Week 13 will feature a non-conference flex game against a Pac-12 opponent, with matchups finalized no later than six days before kickoff. The Pac-12 retains flexibility that week based on league and College Football Playoff considerations.
Texas State opens the season on Sept. 5 just up I-35 at Texas before returning home for three straight games against UTSA, North Texas and Incarnate Word.
The Oct. 3 trip to San Diego State marks the start of Pac-12 play.
As part of the Pac-12’s media agreement with CBS Sports, USA Sports and CW Sports, the conference’s full minimum football slate will air on linear television. Network assignments and kickoff times will be announced at a later date. The Pac-12 Championship Game is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 4 at the home stadium of the highest seed and will air on CBS and Paramount+.
