While football was the main event at Monday’s University Interscholastic League biennial realignment, volleyball districts were also reshaped as part of the redistricting and reclassification process.
For programs across the Austin–San Antonio metroplex, the changes bring new district opponents, new regions and a shift of power in each classification. From loaded Class 6A districts in the Austin and Round Rock areas to competitive small-school leagues throughout the Hill Country, each district presents a new look for area volleyball teams.
