Austin Sports Journal
The Austin Sports Journal names its All-South Central Texas volleyball โ formerly All-Austin Metro โ teams for the 2025 Texas high school season.
The ASJ all-area teams get an overhaul this year, with only one team selected for each classification per all-area team, a separate Class 4A team, and renaming the Rising Star award to the more appropriate, newcomer of the year.
The ASJ selects players from the 84 high schools within our coverage area and selects a first team and a second team for each classification, combining Class 4A and smaller schools.
We have more awards, including The Austin Sports Journalโs Miss Austin Volleyball, which is presented to the player of the year, and the rest of the All-South Central Texas individual award winners.
