The Austin Sports Journal makes its predictions for the 2025 UIL volleyball state tournament, which gets underway Saturday with state semifinals and culminates Nov. 20-22 at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland.

Here is the schedule for area teams in the state semifinals

Austin High vs. Katy Tompkins, 1 p.m., Saturday at Delmair Fieldhouse, Houston

New Braunfels vs. A&M Consolidated, 4 p.m., Saturday at Merrell Center, Katy

Cedar Park vs. Friendswood, 1 p.m., Saturday at Merrell Center, Katy

Wimberley vs. Salado, 1 p.m., Saturday at Littleton Gym, San Antonio
