Behind an offensive assault led by seniors Haley Brown and Elsie Law and junior Mazzy Johnson, Salado trailed just three times in the entire match before closing it out in three sets. Brown recently became the school’s all-time leader for career kills with 1,236.

The Eagles move on to the Class 4A Division II Region III semifinals and will face the winner of Tuesday’s area playoff between Bridge City and Hardin-Jefferson.
