The top four teams make the playoffs, which begin on Oct. 30, with the two schools with the largest enrollments placed in the Division I bracket and the other two in the Division II bracket.
The UIL state volleyball championships are scheduled for Nov. 20-22 at the Curtis Calwell Center in Garland.
Here is a breakdown for each district:
District 25-6A (Region IV)

Front-runners: Round Rock (12โ0) has already clinched a playoff spot. Vandegrift (9โ3), Vista Ridge (8โ2), and Stony Point (8โ3) are all in excellent shape and on the verge of clinching.
Playoff chase: Westwood (5โ6) and Cedar Ridge (4โ7) are fighting to stay alive for the last playoff berth.
Longshots: Hutto (3โ9) and McNeil (2โ9) would need to win out and get help.
Eliminated: Manor (0โ12).
Bottom line: Round Rock is in; Vandegrift, Vista Ridge and Stony Point are nearly there. If Westwood is a true bubble team. The Warriors have a favorable schedule but will have to beat Stony Point on Oct. 21 and get some help to have a chance. They also cannot slip against teams they should beat.
Divisional breakdown: Round Rock is for sure a Division I representative, while Stony Point will be the other Division I team from the district if the Tigers make the playoffs. If Westwood sneaks in, Vandegrift will go to Division I and the Warriors will join Vista Ridge in Division II.
District 26-6A (Region IV)

Front-runners: Austin High (8โ0) is unbeaten and essentially clinched. Lake Travis (5โ1) is in strong position for second.
Playoff chase: Westlake (4โ3) and Dripping Springs (4โ3) currently sit in third and fourth, but Bowie (3โ5) is just behind them..
Longshots: Akins (1โ6) has faint playoff hopes, while Del Valle (0โ7) is nearly eliminated. Bowieโs playoff hopes are hanging on by a thread.
Bottom line: Austin High and Lake Travis are safe, while Westlake and Dripping Springs are going to be the other two playoff teams, most likely.
Divisional breakdown: Westlake and Lake Travis will be the Division I representatives, while Dripping Springs and Austin High will be in the Division II bracket.
District 29-6A (Region IV)

Front-runners: New Braunfels Canyon (7โ0) and Cibolo Steele (7โ1) lead the way and are close to clinching.
Playoff chase: Buda Johnson (4โ3) and Schertz Clemens (4โ4) currently hold third and fourth.
On the bubble: San Antonio East Central (3โ5) is still in contention for the last playoff spot.
Longshots: Converse Judson (1โ6) has only a slim chance left. San Marcos (0โ7) is essentially eliminated.
Bottom line: Canyon and Steele are playoff locks; Johnson, Clemens and East Central will battle for the last two spots. Johnson controls its own destiny, but canโt lose to teams it should beat. Clemens will be in if they can beat East Central on Oct. 21.
Divisional breakdown: Canyon is assured to be in the Division II bracket and Buda Johnson is assured to be Division I. Clemens makes things tricky. If the Buffaloes get in, they will be Division II and Steele will be Division I. However, if East Central sneaks in, Steele will drop to Division II and the Hornets will be Division I.
