PFLUGERVILLE – David Seaborn picked up his second victory as Liberty Hill’s head coach Thursday as his Panthers defeated Connally 73-35 at The Pfield in Pflugerville.

It was the District 11-5A-II opener for both teams. Connally took an early lead behind the play of quarterback Jase Watkins, who ran in two early touchdowns for the Cougars (2-2, 0-1).

Liberty Hill (2-2, 1-0) was lead by the running back tandem of Dylan Belinga, Preston Benefield and Bryce Muchaw.

The Panthers will host Navarro next Thursday, while Connally will take on Crockett Friday at Burger Stadium.
