When selecting teams and awards, the Austin Sports Journal select players from within our 83-school coverage area that reaches across 13 counties in the Austin-San Antonio metroplex.
The ASJ considers nominations from coaches, overall team performance, individual statistics and other postseason awards when selecting teams and award winners.
