Texas State volleyball announces 2025 schedule

Texas State volleyball announced Friday the teamโ€™s 2025 season schedule, which includes 11 home matches including three non-conference matches and eight conference games.

Season tickets go on sale on June 4 and are $75 for the general public and $60 for Bobcat Club members, T-Association members and Texas State faculty/staff. Single-game tickets can be purchased starting Aug. 14.

The Bobcats start the season seven road games beginning with an exhibition at Lamar on Aug. 23. Texas State will open the regular season at the UTSA tournament Aug. 29-30. The team will then head to UTRGV for three games against the Vaqueros, UTEP and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in the Southwest Showdown Sept. 4-6.

The Bobcats’ return to the Strahan Coliseum on Sept. 11 to open the Texas State Tournament against Arizona State at 6 p.m. The Sun Devils are one of seven teams on Texas State’s schedule that made the NCAA Tournament or NIVC tournament last season. That weekend, the Bobcats will also face Tulsa on Sept. 12 at 6 p.m. and Incarnate Word on Sept. 13 at 4 p.m.

The team will go on the road for the tournament at Stanford against the Cardinal, UCLA and Hawaii from Sept. 19-21.

The Bobcats open Sun Belt action at home on Sept. 26 and 27 vs Louisiana. Last season, Texas State went 13-3 in Sun Belt games and won both its games against the Rajin’ Cajuns.

Texas State will host South Alabama on Oct. 9 and 10. Louisiana-Monroe visits the Strahan Arena on Oct. 24 and 25 and Coastal Carolina will be the Bobcats โ€˜Senior Nightโ€™ series on Nov. 7 and 8.ย 

On the road, the team will go to Troy on Oct. 2 and 3, Arkansas State on Oct. 17 and 18, and Southern Miss on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. They will end the regular season at James Madison on Nov. 13 and 14.

Texas State had wins against James Madison and Arkansas State last season in the teamโ€™s run to the 2024 Sun Belt Conference Tournament Championship that came after the Bobcats won in three-straight sweeps in the Sun Belt Tournament.
