The 2025 Texas high school softball season gets underway on Monday. The Austin Sports Journal reveals its preseason All-Austin Metro Softball Super Team as part of its season preview.

Unlike our postseason teams where we select separate teams for Class 6A, 5A and 4A and below from our coverage area, the preseason team is selected regardless of classification. We select teams by positions to include a catcher, four infielders, three outfielders, two pitchers and a utility player.
