There are three games left in the 2024-25 Texas high school men’s basketball regular season, so it’s time for the Austin Sports Journal’s next-to-last rankings before the playoffs begin.

For the fourth week in a row, the No. 1 teams stayed the same. Stony Point, Liberty Hill and St. Michael’s have a stronghold on their spots, but both Stony Point and Liberty Hill have big games coming up this week.

The Tigers will face Westwood on Tuesday and can claim the district title with a win over the Warriors. Liberty Hill travels to Leander Friday in a game that will determine the 25-5A championship.

There are 23 local teams that have clinched a ticket to the 2025 UIL Texas high school basketball playoffs.

Top teams keep their hold on the No. 1 spots, while Westlake and Round Rock swap spots in 6A in the Austin Sports Journal's next-to-last weekly rankings of the regular season.
