Beginning Sept. 1, the Austin Sports Journal will provide more premium content as part of its new subscription model, which will include e-editions of the 2024 Volleyball and Football previews.
The football preview and volleyball preview are available for free for a limited time. This is a preview of the type of content you will find as part of your subscription.
To add value to your subscription, the Austin Sports Journal will begin publishing a weekly e-paper on Saturdays, starting on Aug. 31. The Aug. 31 edition will be free to all readers as a preview.
The e-paper will have scores and recaps from Friday night football, exclusive features, player profiles, and so much more. It will also become home to our All-Austin Metro teams for volleyball, football, basketball, soccer, track & field, baseball and softball.
Subscribers will have it delivered to their inbox every Saturday morning.
Here is an example of the cover:

Readers can purchase an annual subscription for $29.99 (which comes to just $2.50 a month), which will give you full access to everything on our website. This new model will help us cover operating costs, serve a larger audience and do more with our coverage.
