BUDA – The Round Rock Dragons found themselves in too big of a hole that they couldn’t climb out of. San Antonio Reagan defeated the Dragons 12-8 Saturday in Game 3 of a best-of-three area round playoff series at Hays High School in Buda, Texas.

The Rattlers (25-8-1) took a 5-0 lead through five innings. Luke Sasser hit a three-run triple off Round Rock starter Isaac Rodriguez in the top of the second inning, giving Reagan a 3-0 early lead. The Rattlers added two more in the fifth inning and held off a late rally by Round Rock (24-13).
