Giddings, San Marcos and Lago Vista fall in playoff matches

Pflugerville and Connally joined the Hendrickson girls as teams from Pflugerville Independent School District to win their bi-district playoff games. Weiss could have made it a clean sweep with a win over Duncanville on Monday. The final score of the Wolves’ match was unavailable.

Pflugerville scored an early goal to defeat LASA 1-0 on Monday at House Park. The Panthers move on to the area round and will play the winner of Tuesday’s bi-district playoff between Killeen Shoemaker and College Station.

Connally cruised to a 6-0 win over Crocket. The Cougars will play the winner of Waco vs. Magnolia West in the area round.

Liberty Hill made it a clean sweep over Smithson Valley on Monday. Cedar Park’s girls defeated the Lady Rangers 2-1 in their bi-district playoff.

The Panthers blanked the Rangers 3-0 and will move on to the area round to play the winner of San Antonio MacArthur vs. Medina Valley.

Giddings, Lago VIsta and San Marcos had their seasons come to an end on Monday.
