From powerhouse programs with decades of history to recent state champions, the Austin–San Antonio metroplex has left an undeniable mark on Texas high school baseball.

The list of state champions and state tournament qualifiers underscores both sustained excellence and timely peaks, with a remarkable concentration of titles coming from Fayette County – 16 total.

Fayetteville, La Grange, Flatonia and Weimar account for 16 state championships combined, making the region one of the most decorated pockets of baseball success in the state.

Whether measured by championships or repeated trips to Austin, these programs form the backbone of Central Texas’ rich baseball tradition.
