Texas and Texas A&M made their presence felt across the Southeastern Conference volleyball postseason awards announced Wednesday, with both programs placing multiple athletes on the all-SEC teams.

Texas outside hitter Torrey Stafford and middle blocker Cari Spears were both named to the All-SEC first team, anchoring a strong showing for the Longhorns. Stafford, one of the league’s most dynamic attackers, continued her ascent as one of the SEC’s most feared scorers, while Spears earned dual honors as both a first-team pick and a member of the All-Freshman Team.

Libero Emma Halter earned a spot on the all-SEC second team after another reliable season stabilizing the Texas back row.

The Longhorns also placed three players on the all-freshman team: Spears, Taylor Harvey and Abby Vander Wal.

Texas A&M matched Texas with four All-SEC first team picks, the second straight year the Aggies have surged into the conference’s upper tier.

Middle blocker Ifenna Cos-Okpalla, opposite hitter Logan Lednicky, outside hitter Kyndal Stowers and setter Maddie Waak all earned first-team honors.

Lednicky, one of the SEC’s most accomplished players and a consistent All-America candidate, headlined the A&M contingent with another standout season. Stowers and Waak continued to elevate the A&M offensive identity, while Cos-Okpalla remained one of the league’s most dominant blockers at the net.
