The Sun Belt Conference released the bracket for the 2025 Sun Belt Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, setting the stage for a postseason run Texas State enters as one of the league’s hottest teams.
The Bobcats (16-11) come into the tournament riding an eight-match winning streak, highlighted by back-to-back five-set thrillers over James Madison over the weekend. Texas State’s late-season surge secured the No. 3 seed in the West Division and an automatic berth into Friday’s quarterfinals.
This year’s tournament will take place November 20–23 at the Foley Events Center in Foley, Ala., marking the sixth straight year the Sun Belt Championship has been held at the coastal venue. All nine matches will stream live on ESPN+.
The 2025 bracket was determined by winning percentage against divisional opponents. The top teams in both divisions earned byes into the quarterfinals.
James Madison claimed its second straight Sun Belt regular-season title with a 13-3 conference record and a 20-8 overall mark. Arkansas State took the top spot in the West after finishing 12-4 in league play.
The Bobcats open tournament play in Match 3, facing East No. 6 seed Coastal Carolina at 11 a.m., Friday. A win would send Texas State to Saturday’s semifinals.
