The 2025 Texas high school volleyball season is coming to an end this weekend, culminating with the state championship matches at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland.
Itโs been a record-breaking year for Austin-area high school volleyball. For the second year in a row โย and third since 1999 โ three teams from the Austin area are playing in state championship games.
Wimberley is trying to repeat as class 4A Division II state champions. Cedar Park is making its second straight appearance in the Class 5A Division II state championship and looking for its first state title in school history. Austin High is playing in its first final since 1992, the same year it won a state championship.

State championship schedule
When: Thursday-Saturday
Where: Curtis Culwell Center, Garland
Ticket information: Tickets are $15 per game or $35 for an all-tournament pass. Parking is $15 per day. There is a clear bag policy. Tickets and parking can be purchased here.
Thursday
Class 1A (3 p.m.): ย Blum (29-19) vs. Water Valley (25-14)
Class 2A-I (5 p.m.): Jewett Leon (30-7) vs. Nocona (34-13)
Class 2A-II (7 p.m.): Iola (47-5) vs. Crawford (32-15)
Friday
Class 3A-I (11 a.m.): Goliad (43-3) vs. Bushland (41-7)
Class 3A-II (1 p.m.): ย Clifton (42-6) vs. Boyd (35-9)
Class 4A-I (4 p.m.): La Vernia (43-9) vs. Decatur (41-7)
Class 4A-II (6 p.m.): Wimberley (46-5) vs. Eagle Mountain (37-11)
Saturday
Class 5A-II (11 a.m.): A&M Consolidated (37-9) vs. Dallas Highland Park (42-8)
Class 5A-I (1 p.m.): Cedar Park (38-12) vs. Argyle (38-3)
Class 6A-I (4 p.m.): Pearland Dawson (42-4) vs. Northwest Nelson (41-0)
