Texas State baseball fans will have more chances than ever to see their team in action this spring.

Head coach Steven Trout announced Thursday that the Bobcats’ 2026 schedule features a program-record 34 home games at Bobcat Ballpark.

The Bobcats open the season at home for the 16th straight year, hosting Niagara from Feb. 13–15. It will mark the second consecutive season Texas State begins its campaign against a program from New York.

A pair of future Pac-12 foes will visit San Marcos early in the season. Gonzaga comes to town for a three-game set from Feb. 20–22, followed by Washington State for a four-game series March 5–8.

Texas State’s only non-conference weekend on the road will be at the College Baseball Series in Cleburne from Feb. 28–March 1, with matchups against Abilene Christian (twice) and Tarleton State.

The Bobcats begin Sun Belt Conference play March 13–15 on the road against Louisiana-Monroe before returning home to face Louisiana (March 20–22). Other conference home series include Georgia Southern (April 2–4), Troy (April 10–12), South Alabama (May 1–3) and Marshall (May 14–16).

Road conference trips will take Texas State to Georgia State (March 27–29), Southern Miss (April 17–19), Coastal Carolina (April 24–26) and Arkansas State (May 8–10).

Texas State’s midweek schedule features a mix of in-state rivals and Power 4 opponents.

The Bobcats’ first midweek contest is Feb. 24 against I-35 rival UTSA. They’ll also host Texas (March 10), Texas A&M (April 7) and Baylor (May 5). Other home midweek matchups include UTRGV (March 24), Stephen F. Austin (April 8), HCU (April 14), Incarnate Word (April 21) and Texas A&M–Corpus Christi (April 28).

On the road, Texas State will travel to Baylor (Feb. 17), Texas A&M (March 17), Texas (March 31) – where they’ll aim for a fifth straight win in Austin – and UTSA (May 12).

The Sun Belt Conference Championship is set for May 19–24 at Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery, Alabama.
