SAN MARCOS – Texas State head coach GJ Kinne’s has been rumored to be a top candidate for the vacant Oklahoma State head coaching job.

A source told the Austin Sports Journal Sunday, Kinne’s name tops a short wish list of coaches to replace Mike Gundy in Stillwater. Gundy was fired after 21 seasons on Sept. 22 after a 19-12 loss to Tulsa the previous Friday.

At his weekly press conference Tuesday at the Weisman Football Performance Center, Kinne said his mind was solely on Arkansas State and the season.
