Texas high school football is more than just the action on the field.
There are thousands of cheerleaders, marching band and drill team members, and student trainers that put in hours of hard work on the sidelines to make the environment on Thursday and Friday nights what it is. Oh, and we can forget the student sections that embody school spirt.
The Austin Sports Journal covered 32 games during the 2024 Texas high school football regular season. Here are some of the scenes from the sideline we captured during the season.
