Here are photos from early morning action at the Westwood 7-on-7 state qualifying tournament on Saturday at Westwood High School. The tournament took place at both Westwood and Cedar Ridge High School in Round Rock with 23 teams competing for three spots at this summer’s state 7-on-7 tournament in College Station on June 27-29 at Veterans Park and Athletic Complex. Westlake took part in the tournament, but already qualified and couldn’t advance to the qualifying rounds.
