Publications hit newsstands Aug. 2 for volleyball, Aug. 20 for football

The Austin Sports Journal will publish the inaugural issues of its football and volleyball preview premium publications this August.
The pre-sale for both magazine’s begins today. Readers can preorder each magazine for 20% off the standard price now through July 31, 2024. The price will increase to $10 on Aug. 1.
The covers will be revealed for both publications on Saturday, June 1.
Each full-color annual premium publication will cover high school football and volleyball in the Greater Austin Metropolitan Area to include schools in Travis, Williamson, Burnet, Bastrop, Hays and Blanco counties, along with Giddings and La Grange.
Inside each magazine, readers will find:
- Cover stories that highlight the top storylines for the Austin area heading into the 2024 football and volleyball seasons.
- Player and team profiles for each classification
- A look at the Austin area’s best rivalries
- A 2024 season road-trip of the can’t-miss games.
- The preseason All-Austin Metro team, honoring the top players in the area
- Team previews and predictions for all 61 football and 63 volleyball teams in the Greater Austin Area.
