There are four undefeated boys high school soccer teams in the Greater Austin metro area, and two of them reside in District 26-6A.
Bowie (9-0-1) and Del Valle (5-0-3) have yet to be beaten in the 2024 Texas high school soccer season. Meanwhile, Glenn has marched to a 13-0 record and looks near unstoppable, while Connally is picking up where it left off in 2023 and is 10-0-1.
We are a month into the season and some districts are two weeks into league play.
Class 6A Power 5
1. Bowie (9-0-1)
The Bulldogs beat Akins and Johnson last week, giving up just one goal. Bowie is 4-0 in 26-6A with wins over Dripping Springs and Austin High.
2. Vandegrift (9-1-0)
The Vipers have won six-straight matches, including their first five District 25-6A games. Vandegrift beat Round Rock and McNeil this past week.
3. Westlake (7-1-3)
The Chaparrals are also off to a strong start, despite dropping a 2-1 decision to Del Valle on Jan. 19. Westlake picked up wins over Austin High and Dripping Springs last week.
4. Weiss (7-1-2)
The Wolves are a scrappy, young team and started the season 5-0-1. Weiss beat Harker Heights and Temple last week to open District 12-6A play.
5. Del Valle (5-0-3)
The Cardinals are one of the more surprising teams in the area, with an eye-opening win over Westlake on Jan. 19. Del Valle tied Lake Travis and beat Anderson last week.

Class 5A/4A Power 5
1. Glenn (13-0-0)
The Grizzlies won their first three tournaments of the season with several wins over good teams. Glenn is 3-0 in District 25-5A and beat Hays and Lockhart last week.
2. Connally (10-0-1)
The Cougars only blemish from perfection is a 1-1 tie with Connally on Jan. 23. Connally has beat Elgin and Cedar Creek in the past week.
3. Georgetown (8-1-3)
The Eagles are 3-0-1 in their last four games, playing Connally to a 1-1 tie to open District 23-5A action. Georgetown beat Pflugerville and Elgin this past week.
4. East View (6-2-2)
The Patriots have given up only one goal in their last six games and has three shutouts in District 23-5A play. East View beat Bastrop and Cedar Creek In its last two games.
5. Manor New Tech (7-2-2)
The Titans lost their first two games of the season but is 7-0-2 in the last nine. Manor New Tech beat Giddings this past Friday and La Grange on Tuesday by way of shootout after finishing regulation knotted up a 0-0.
