There is a shift at the top of the power weekends after Austin High’s 3-0 loss to Lake Travis a week ago. The bottom of the power rankings stayed steady with no movement in spots six through 10.

The Cavaliers (38-4, 9-0 District 26-6A) keep the No. 1 spot in this week’s rankings. District 26-6A still dominates the top of our volleyball power rankings. Dripping Springs moves up a spot to No. 3 and Austin High falls to No. 5 after being ranked No. 2 last week. Westlake drops out of the top 5 and to No. 6, after the Chaps lost their fifth straight match on Tuesday, falling to Bowie in five sets.

Round Rock (29-9, 7-0 District 25-6A) takes over the No. 2 spot this week. The Dragons are atop the district standings, but Vandegrift (17-19, 6-1 are lurking closely behind. Round Rock beat McNeil and Stony Point last week and has a tough battle with Vista Ridge tonight and takes on Manor Friday.

Rouse (30-11, 7-0 District 25-5A) leapfrogs the Chaparrals and Austin High to land in the No. 4 spot. The Raiders defeated Glenn and Lehman last week, and travels to Hays tonight and hosts Lockhart Friday.
